# How do I delete my account?

Contact us and we’ll remove the account: your login, your course access, your progress records, and your email from our mailing list. Two honest notes. First, deletion is permanent — if you might sit the exam again (retakes are unlimited, $15 each), consider keeping access, since it lasts the lifetime of this edition at no further cost. Second, we retain the minimum transaction record required for tax and accounting purposes; that record contains no course activity. Refunds, where eligible, follow the [refund policy](https://nynotaryexamprep.com/help/payments-and-registration/) — deletion isn’t needed to claim one.
