# My name is spelled wrong on my account. How do I fix it?

Send us the correction through the [contact page](https://nynotaryexamprep.com/contact/) with your order email — we’ll update the name on the account. It matters more than it might seem: your name prints on your completion certificate, and a mismatched name is an avoidable annoyance if an employer ever asks for proof. Correct it before you finish the course rather than after. This fixes your account record only; it has no effect on anything filed with the state, which uses the name on your state application.
