# Where do I find the exam schedule?

At the Department of State’s become-a-notary page, dos.ny.gov/become-notary-public. It lists every walk-in exam session in the state. Our [exam day guide](https://nynotaryexamprep.com/ny-notary-exam-day-logistics/) walks the same schedule with the details the state’s page assumes you know: which sites run how often, what the fee takes, and what to bring. One rule worth knowing before you go: the New York City site requires advance email scheduling, and every other site is walk-in.
